Pyxis, the Mariner's Compass, a modern constellation associated
with Argo, sprawls across the center of
the picture. The luminary, Alpha Pyxidis, is the dominant star just
below center. Vela, the Ship's sails, flap
toward the bottom, partially outlined by Suhail and Regor (respectively
at bottom center and the lower right corner), while Naos in
Puppis, the Stern, is near the lower right-
hand edge.
