WESTERN DRACO

The tail of Draco, the Dragon, winds between the Big Dipper (at left) and the front bowl stars of the Little Dipper at right. Thuban is between Mizar and the Little Dipper's bowl stars, while the Big Dipper's famed Pointer stars point at Giausar, at the tail's end. The triplet of stars just down and to the right of center is made of 4, 5, and 6 Draconis, 5 Dra better known as Kappa Dra. At the upper right hand corner is Al Dhibain Prior (Eta Draconis). Edasich (Iota) is to the left of Eta.
