CASSIOPEIA AND PERSEUS

Cassiopeia and Perseus are seen in context as they go over the northern pole. The Queen's upside-down "W" is to the left, the star-streams of the Hero to the right. In between, in the Milky Way (which streams between the two), is the Double Cluster. Andromeda falls toward the top, with its great galaxy M 31 toward the upper left corner. The faint stars toward the bottom belong to Camelopardalis.
