The first magnitude stars of the rising Summer Triangle
are all seen in context:
Vega in Lyra
near the top edge of the image, Deneb in Cygnus
to the far left, and Altair in Aquila
to the right. Sagitta is just to the left
and a bit up from Altair, while Delphinus
lies down and to the left of the star. The Milky Way, with its
dark Great Rift, runs from left to right through the picture.
