LUPUS
Lupus, the Wolf, loops around the picture to the southwest of
Scorpius. Kakkab (Alpha Lupi) is the brightest
of the stars near the lower right corner (and within the horizon clouds).
Beta Lupi is up and to the left. The brightest star near the upper left
corner is Rho Scorpii (which lies south of Scorpius's three-star head).
Chi Lupi is at the top of the loop down and slightly to the right of
Rho Sco. Norma is at the lower left corner, while
Centaurus sprawls to the right. See
central Lupus.
