CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN LUPUS

Central and southern Lupus stretch across the center of the picture with some of Centaurus above. North is up and to the left. The bright star near center is Kakkab, Alpha Lupi. Beta Lupi falls to the left of it, then Delta is on a line down and to the left of Beta, with Gamma down and to the left of Delta. Zeta is down and a bit right of Kakkab. The bright star near the upper right corner is Zeta Centauri, with Eta Cen down and to the left of it to the left of upper center.

A number of open clusters, indicated by blue circles and their NGC numbers, hover at the right side of the picture.
