BODE'S URSA MAJOR

Ursa Major, the Great Bear, from Johannes Bode's Uranographia of 1801. The Big Dipper, which makes the Bear's hindquarters and tail, lies just to the right of center. Just below Ursa Major is Leo Minor, the Smaller Lion.
