Orion's Belt falls across the top of the picture. From
upper right to lower left the stars are Mintaka (Delta), Alnilam (Epsilon),
and Alnitak (Zeta). Toward the lower right corner is Orion's Sword, the central star
of which is Theta-1 Ori, which is hidden here by the reddish glow of the
Orion Nebula.
Down and to the right of Alnitak is the multiple star Sigma Ori, while below
Theta-1 is Na'ir al Saif (Iota Ori).
