02 February, 1998. More and more quasars have been found with the Hubble Space Telescope to have surrounding host galaxies. Quasars to indeed seem to be the nuclei of ultra-active galaxies, galaxies seen at great distances at extreme youth. Evidently such galaxies quiet with time to become the nearby active galaxies or even a galaxy such as ours.
